Product Overview

Penelope Rex has conquered her urge to snack on classmates, but now she faces a new fear: Walter, the class goldfish with his constantly chomping jaws. When Mrs. Noodleman announces that students will take turns bringing Walter home for the weekend, Penelope's anxious imagination spirals into full-blown panic. From sleepless nights watching Walter's bowl creep closer to her bed to the goldfish mysteriously going missing, this story follows the lovable dinosaur as she learns to face what scares her. A companion to the #1 New York Times bestseller "We Don't Eat Our Classmates," this Penelope Rex adventure from author-illustrator Ryan T. Higgins turns common childhood worries into laugh-out-loud moments.

Relatable story about managing fears and caring for classroom pets, told through Penelope's over-the-top dinosaur perspective
Vibrant illustrations bring humor to Penelope's wild imagination as Walter's bowl seems to move and his lips look suspiciously menacing
Continues the adventures of Penelope Rex, the dinosaur who learns important lessons about friendship and bravery in everyday school situations
From Ryan T. Higgins, the bestselling creator who knows how to balance silly scenarios with genuine emotional growth
