Product Overview

This balsa wood model kit from Guillow's lets builders construct a flying replica of the Hawker Hurricane, the RAF fighter that took down German bombers during the Battle of Britain while Spitfires tangled with Messerschmitts overhead. The completed model has a 16½-inch wingspan at approximately 1:30 scale and recreates the first combat aircraft to top 300 miles per hour. The kit features laser-cut balsa parts and includes white plastic parts, cowl, and canopy components. Recommended for ages 14 and up, this is an intermediate to advanced building project that requires multiple skills and techniques.
